State Route 23 south into Grand Gorge, NY
Coming downhill into the hamlet of Grand Gorge, New York, a NYS Trooper has a hiding spot right after the speed limit drops from 55 to 40. Can’t say the exact spot, because we never saw him till the lights came on, but talking to some locals at the convenience market at the corner of NYS Rt 23 and 30, several told us that he (the Trooper) is there regularly.
