The Mass. Trnpke, two miles east of the Exit One toll booths   Stockbridge, Massachusetts

After you pass through the Mass. Turnpike eastbound toll booths at Exit One, you go uphill and around a mountain. As you go down the other side, a state police car is often waiting at the bottom of the hill in the crossover strip between the eastbound and westbound lanes. The speed limit here is 65, but it's very easy to pick up speed on that downhill slope. Be careful.
