Just east of the intersection of Ave P and 240th East   El Mirage, California

If you are taking the back road route between Lancaster and Hesperia, through El Mirage and near the El Mirage lake bed, watch out for the Highway Patrol unit parked in the weeds on the north side of the road one to two miles east of the Avenue P / 240th St East intersection. This road is very lightly traveled, and it is a nice alternative to driving the extremely dangerous Hwy 138. Unfortunately, instead of actually patrolling the 138 (that might be described as actual work for the CHP) they hide behind the tumble weeds along Avenue P all day long writing $300 tickets. Still a nice drive, but I guess you need to slow down on that stretch.

Speeding Tickets

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
