M-37 south of Bedford to Morgan Rd. in Battle Creek

Bedford, MichiganDec 30, 20100 Comments

Battle Creek city police cars will park on either side of the road just over the hill south bound from Bedford north of the M-37/Kirby Road intersection but also may be anywhere along the 4 mile stretch between Bedford and Battle Creek.
The M-37/ Kirby Rd. intersection is actually between two hills on M-37 so the police catch both south bound and north bound speeders.

Speed changes from 50 mph. south of Bedford, to 40 mph. There is a slight hill and curve as you enter Bedford. A black Battle Creek police car will sit in the fire station parking area on the right. Speed changes to 25 mph for the sharp left curve at the store. Speed changes to 40 mph after the curve and then to 50 mph at Meacham Rd. At Banfield Rd. the speed changes to 55 mph. If you speed up to 55 mph. before Banfield Rd. a police car may be sitting the the business parking lots on the left and they will pull you over and a issue a ticket. The Battle Creek police cars are not unmarked, but from a distance they appear to be.
