This incurrs a $279 fine. Polk county police officer in single marked car constantly radars in this area, moving back and forth.

Got off I-4 to refuel and stretch legs, Refueled @ BP station and left to return to
I-4. Had to make a right turn, going south on Rt 27 (divided highway). Drove to intersection about 1/2 mile to return to N bound lane. The light had two left turn lanes and so I got in the left lane to make U turn. I got half way thru and there was a posted no u turn sign. I was already committed so I had to make the turn. Immediately there was a local cop who pulled me over and accused me of running a red light (which I did not). He issued me a ticket in the amount of $149.00 for making the U turn. I believe that this is a big money maker for Haines City and this City should be avoided and word spread of this tactic of catching people on the Interstate.
