The Whole Island is a speed trap   Jupiter Island, Florida

As a police officer who worked for the Town of Jupiter Island for over 20 years, I can assure you that the whole town is a speed trap. The police have nothing to do there but write tickets, and tourists take the brunt since they will not write a resident a ticket.

the speed limit drops to 30 and the police are everywhere!

Bridge Road near Gomez Road   Jupiter Island, Florida

On Bridge Road upon entering the island. Cars park on the south side of the road in the trees. They also park near the beach, facing west and catch cars coming down the hill from the bridge. Speed is 30 mph.
