On either end of Matlacha
Lee County Sheriff deputies will sit in the restaurant parking lots at either end of Matlacha. Heading west, (from Cape Coral) the speed limit drops from 50 on Pine Island Road to 45 then to 35 as you drive around the bend. Their trap is on the far side of the bend.
They also patrol the east bound lane from Pine Island to Matlacha where the speed limit drops from 55 to 45 then to 30. The Sheriff deputies sit just behind the pine trees at the Sandy Hook restaurant.
