Interlake west of the circle   Lake Placid, Florida

Police sit at the crest of the hill looking for speeders in the school zone. The speed limit through town and around the circle is 30mph, but when you exit the circle, it drops immediately to 20mph during school hours. Yes, there is a school-zone sign with flashing lights, but it sits high on a post, and during the afternoon, you round the curve and have the sun in your eyes. And if you drop the sunvisor, it blocks out the sign and lights due to their height. The fine is close to $300...I know. The sign is at that height for an obvious reason...so you don't see it. This is especially applicable to out-of-town drivers who are not familiar with the school zone.

They are there quite often.

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
