Coming the opposite direction you will see him when it is too late, since he has the radar facing your direction.

Sheriff or local police are 85% of the time parked close to the meeting hall in the spring, summer and fall months. This winter I have seen them there 6 times. If you are traveling towards the Fire House – west – you will not see the the police car until you start passing him.
Coming the opposite direction -east- you will see him when you reach the crest of the hill when it is too late, since he has the radar facing all directions.
