Wallace, South Carolina Speed Traps

We call it the “ticket 500” its like a Nascar race. The troopers make the same circle all day. The troopers sit at the stores at the US1/hwy 9 intersection. If you head towards Bennetsville/Myrtle Beach, right after the intersection, there is a railroad over pass. The speed limit goes from 35 to 45…there is a trooper in the grass in the middle of the road just before the Hwy 177 turn off. If anything is going on in Myrtle Beach, or its summer…be careful. They are tearing up out of staters, and most are rookie idiots straight out of Columbia. Say something wrong, and they will arrest you for disorderly conduct.
