On 54 as you are coming into LakeFork / Mt. Pulaski from the Springfield area. There is often a State or Logan County sqaud set back in a field road along a wooded fence line.

The way Rt. 121 curves around Mt. Pulaski gives cops a ton of options. I have seen them park a squad car in the gas station shooting north down 121 towards the north of town, but he can also shoot to the east as the road curves that way towards the unmarked police station. Because cars are normally parked in the gas station lot anyway, it makes the cop car much harder to notice and the lot slopes down a little to the east which hides them slightly. The whole town is a speed trap and the cops there have nothing better to do than cash in on speeders.

Police will sit on the north of the underpass on the east side backed up in the grass towards the railroad tracks ILLINOIS RT.121

They also sit on the south side of the firehouse just north of the firehouse on the west side of ILLINOIS RT. 121
