County Road 18, Between HWY 231 and HWY 123   Newton, Alabama

Newton police love to sit on this road with the dark car, because it is dark on the road and you do not see them until you are right on them. I have seen cars pulled all the time on this road.

State Highway 123 near Campground Road   Newton, Alabama

Newton PD cop likes to sit in the parking lot of a closed gas station called Ard's Supply pointed down 123 towards traffic coming from Ozark. Have seen him several times on the way home from work at about the same time, 4:30 in the afternoon.

Hwy 231 North, en route to Ozark   Newton, Alabama

The town cop will go out of his jurisdiction to catch "speeders" I say "speeders" because sometimes I wonder if his traffic-tracking instruments are actually working. The guy typically hangs out near a road that you can't really see until you are right up on it!! He loves to patrol a kind of desolate stretch of road that is just above the Covan movers facility and right below the Ozark city limits. This guy will not hesitate to write a ticket!! My mom was given a ticket from this guy for going 75 in an 60 mph zone.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
