US Highway 98 near Hathaway Bridge   Panama City, Florida

East-bound traffic coming off the Hathway Bridge can pretty much count on seeing either a state trooper or city police car (they share). The roadway takes a steep downward turn as you leave the bridge and it is very easy to exceed the limit and not see the cop.

State Highway 231 near State Route 20   Panama City, Florida

Troopers hide along the roadway and use radar to establish speed. Area is designated 45 mph which is unrealistic for the area. This is about 4 miles north of the intersection of Hwy 20 and US 231.

Bay County Sheriff officer sits in median without any external lights using POP radar. POP is quick burst that is not detected by most detectors and is not recommended for basis of a ticket by radar manufacturer.
