US 1 and Dadeland Blvd/Burger King
Police like to park in the parking lot of Burger King and trap all those coming North on US-1 as well as those making U-turns on Dadeland Blvd. Beware.
U.S. Hwy. 1 and SW 120th Street
Dark police cars wait along side of Northbound U.S. Hwy. 1 using K or Ka band to light up speeders heading north. The gas station is closed and dark in the evening. The speed limit on this stretch of U.S. Hwy. 1 is 45 mph.
sw 67 Avenue near Old Cutler Road
Generally several Pinecrest Police sit on the shoulder of SW 67th Ave just north of the Old Cutler Rd intersection.
SW 144 Street near 87 Avenue
Officer hides among the trees to catch motorists driving eastbound on SW 144 Street between SW 87 Avenue and SW 82 Avenue. You will be stopped and ticketed for driving even 5 miles above the posted speed limit.
US Highway 1 near 96th Street
Officer in a dark green car with no light bar hides behind the concrete supports for the SR826 ramp. You can’t see him until it’s to late.
