Jonesville, Louisiana Speed Traps

Coming on to the bridge it’s a sign that says 55. Top of the bridge it changes to a sign that says 40. Then at the bottom of the bridge it says 40 and then a good many feet past that it says school zone 30 and then right past that almost to the red light it says 40 again. She clocked us on top of the bridge coming down at 41 and said we was in a school zone which was a lie. We never made it to the school zone we even turned before that to go to the bank. I also have pictures of all the signs.

On highway 84 at the new bridge just before you get into Jonesville Louisiana It has a 55 mph speed limit sign and it drops to 30 mph in the middle of the bridge with a small sign. I ask if this was a speed trap and they said they just enforce the law, and the state puts up the speed traps. and over 1000 tickets in this spot. This is a small town with little for the people to do .So they make it from Tickets !

Coming in to town, from east, on 84, they sit at the foot of the bridge over on the far left, of in the middle in the turn lane, you have got to ride your brakes all the way into town. From the West, on 84, they sit on the left in the curve, under trees..
