Causeway Blvd East AND West   Sanibel Island, Florida

There are MULTIPLE places that Sanibel police will hide on the causeway blvd once you are actually ON Sanibel. Times when you'll spy said cops vary depending on the days (on weekends from around 1AM to light. Weekdays vary). It is good and common practice to slow down to the speed limit of that stretch (30mph) as soon as you get to the end of the bridge or turn onto the road from the island.

Dixie Beach Road   Sanibel Island, Florida

Sanibel police use unmarked crown vic and SUV mostly on San-Cap road. Also local police have good instant on radar to get oncoming traffic. End of Dixie Beach Rd a good place for radar as 30 MPH limit too low. Most of island is 35 MPH and Lee Co uses motocycle cops in hiding. Have seen on Middle Gulf and San-Cap roads. 7 MPH over and less seems OK.

Speeding Tickets

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
