Treasure Island Causeway near 104th & 108th Ave.   Treasure Island, Florida

T.I. Causeway/107th Ave. westbound at 104th or 108th Ave. near the Malyn Resort. The speed limit changes from 35 to 25 westbound. Cops love catching people as they enter downtown T.I. or on their way to the beach. Also in the last month the speed limit was changed from 35 to 25 just west of the little bridge. The limit doesn't increase to 35 until halfway eastbound on T.I. Causeway between the little bridge and Paradise Blvd.

Gulf Boulevard near John's Pass Bridge   Treasure Island, Florida

Traveling south bound from Maderia Beach, on Gulf Blvd. the speed limit drops from 40 to 35mph as you approach the up-grade to the John's Pass Bridge. Not a problem, until you reach the crest of the bridge and begin the descent to the Treasure Island side. Even if you remove your foot from the accelerator, the car will gain considerable speed on the steep descent. Approximately 1 block past the bottom of the hill, on the west side of Gulf Blvd. there is often a patrol car tucked in among other parked cars, facing on-comming traffic, or sitting on the side street out of clear view. Although I have not personally been stopped, I've seen Many that have!
