St. Rte. 434 from Black Hammock to 1/4 mile east of 17-92   Winter Springs, Florida

This poor excuse of a city is a speed trap. They don't have a fire department, but they sure can have a police department in a city with no crime. Do not even think about going one mile over the speed limit on 434 or you will see either an unmarked VW Beetle or a motorcycle with lights and sirens behind you. Be careful on St. Rte. 434, from Black Hammock to almost 17-92, its all Winter Springs jurisdiction even though you see a sign for Oviedo going east near 417 and Longwood going west near 17-92. Once you pass 17-92 or Hammock Way, you are out of this city known as "Waldo Springs"

Winter Springs Town Center   Winter Springs, Florida

There are TWO stop signs leaving the town center onto 434, by Subway. The cops frequently sit in the median between that exit of the center and the light at Tuskawilla... If you don't come to a complete stop at that first stop sign, you will get ticketed. The signs are only about 10 feet apart... don't 'breeze' through it!

Dolphin Drive & Green Spring Circle   Winter Springs, Florida

Patrol cars like to sit in the parking lot for the tennis courts near the townhomes. Dolphin Drive has a lot of curves on both sides of this location and they can get you from either direction as soon as you come around a curve. They are usually there at least once a week. Be aware if you drive through the Mt. Greenwood subdivision on Dolphin Drive. There are several other "spots" on this same road!

State Route 434   Winter Springs, Florida

Between CR 419 and Tuskawilla Rd and then between Tuskawilla and 417 Expressway, cruisers frequently sit in the median waiting for you to exceed 50MPH limit on four lane divided road. They really love to sit there at night with their lights off.
