Boulevard and Edgewood intersection

Atlanta, GeorgiaAug 14, 20190 Comments

Boulevard is a 2 lane (in each direction) street. As you approach the Edgewood cross street there is a small sign (partially covered by graffiti) alerting drivers the right lane must turn right…because it’s ending. The sign is hard to see, it’s also posted literally 50 feet from the intersection and drivers try to jump over to the left lane and continue straight. Police hide on the next street and pull drivers over all day everyday. I live in the building right about the intersection.

On the corner of River Industrial Park Blvd and Moreland Ave

Officer with speed gun in hand wearing green vest on the side of the road pulling drivers over for excessive speeding when sign is invisible from our vantage point. Sign is located approximately one block away. The officer is from Dekalb County, and the location is on Fulton County.

Roswell Road at Rickenbacker Chastain Square

Atlanta, GeorgiaJan 12, 20160 Comments

Morning commute. Two police officers shoot radar at cars traveling North on Roswell Road. They wait for you to come down a hill and hit. Pulling over cars 2 x 2. Two police officers writing ticket. Very lucrative for the City.

Northside Drive, between Ethel St and 14th St

Atlanta, GeorgiaMar 25, 20150 Comments

Cop will hide in the parking lot next to McDonalds. Be careful making the left turn into the Cookout, he will nab anyone making that left turn (over the two sets of double yellows across Northside Drive). The best thing to do is to just make a U-turn at the 14th street light. The same cop is also in a good place to get people speeding on that part of Northside Drive.

I-20 East

The City of Atlanta has reduced the speed limit to 50 mph just a few miles before the MLK exit. There is the same officer there every day during rush hour to deliver citations. This is clearly a revenue scheme by the Atlanta Police Department, the City of Atlanta, and it’s municipal court.
