Pretty reliably, every weekday morning as I head north to town via the Jefferson Bridge around 07:00, I’ll spot a cop with a radar gun on the northeast corner of Jefferson & Comal scanning cars heading to town. The speed limit on this remote six-lane divided stretch is, inexplicably, only 30 mph. And they will happily jump out and nail you for 4-5 mph over the limit-! Great.
