Wolfe Street near State Highway 71   Cohutta, Georgia

Cohutta Police Department strickly enforces the speed limits on Wolfe Street between Cohutta-Varnell Road and Georgia Hwy 71. Due to the fact there is a school zone (only active in the am and pm) they (Cohutta PD) finds it necessary to have heavy saturated patrols in the area. Also Cohutta PD's 5+ man department has routine road checks on this road.

Cohutta Varnell Road near Wheeler-Dam Road   Cohutta, Georgia

Cohutta Varnell Road coming out of Varnell and between the City of Varnell Line and Wheeler-Dam road in Cohutta is enforced - especially at night. Also beware that this was once a passing zone between Varnell and Cohutta on Cohutta Varnell Road, but the county has now made it a no passing zone so Cohutta Police Department (Cohutta PD) will scroll one out in a heartbeat for improper passing and speeding.
