Watford City, North Dakota Speed Traps

At the two mile marker. you approach from over a hill and s turn to the left. you are spotted by radar or lidar on the small portion going downhill after the left turn then disappear for another s turn and reappear at a straight away down towards the base of the hill at the marker. speed limit is 25 and you can be sure of 40+ at the first section with no brakes as it’s a surprisingly steep grade. Check you speed constantly in the park as this may not be the only place but after traversing the park this is the most likely spot to make the big bucks. average speed in the park based on TomTom GPS survey is 29.8 mph. Ticket at 40 is two points, class B federal misdemeanor and $105 (7/22/2011)
