Two-mile stretch of Highway 441 between Piedmont College and the traffic light at Walmart changes SIX times - varies from 25 mph to 45 mph - watch the speed limit signs carefully otherwise they'll get you. They're usually sitting in the Metalworks parking lot after dark waiting for you to come by!

Does anyone else find it suspicious that Demorest now has city limit signs and speed checked by detection devices signs on the Habersham Bypass? I KNOW they did not used to be there, and it smells like a speedtrap to me.

City of demorest police are constantly watching for speeders. There is at least one officer with radar on in this town 3 out of every 5 times I go through this town (I do this 2 times every day, 5 days a week)
