Highway 515 going south, just inside the city limits   East Ellijay, Georgia

East Ellijay is all about revenues, and they especially enjoy collecting them from residents of counties to the north, who have to drive through there to get to work. At 6am, a city patrol officer will be sitting in the median with his lights off, waiting for some person trying to get to work on time. When a vehicle passes which he calculates might not be able to slow down fast enough when they reach the 45mph sign, off he goes in pursuit. I have seen them pull over cars after they have stopped at the first traffic light.
