Henry, Georgia Speed Traps

i was getting my tires changed right near the quicktrip i saw the same cop pull over atleast 5 or 6 cars
within a 1hour time period hour and half tops

Upchurch Road, posted at 35 MPH, turns off GA Hwy 81, which is a posted 55 MPH. Very few houses are actually located on Upchurch Road. Most residences are in sub-divisions leading off Upchurch Road. Many other similar roads in the area are posted at 45 MPH. Going from 55 MPH to 35 MPH on an open roads is difficult to maintain.

Cruisers sit b/w the wooded medians. You barely, if at all, see the front ends of the cars.

A Henry County Cruiser likes to sit on the bridge over "The Big Cotton Indian Creek" between 2 hills with no lights on. As you come down either hill you tend to speed up as it is all new highway. It is a 55 zone, but you do tend to run 65 coming off the hills. This is between Hemphill Road and Miller’s Mill Road on GA HWY 138 just east of Stockbridge.

Bewtween Flippen road and Rock Quary road on HWY 138 in Stockbridge, the speed changes from 45 to 35. Henry County Cruisers tend to park all along the posted 35 mph area and pick folks off 1 at a time.
