Hickory Road / Harmony Lakes Drive   Holly Springs, Georgia

Car sits far off the road in the woods on the south side of Hickory Road with the next intersection being Harmony Lakes Drive. Closest major road is East Cherokee. The speed limit is artificially low in this area -40 - on a stretch you'd expect to be 45 - 55 (LONG straightaways, few/very slight curves, no immediate residences, no sidewalks, double yellow lines, etc.) with speed limit signs being far and few between. In fact, this stretch of road is so lightly populated that I had to drive some distance to even reach a side road so they could ticket me.

Sixes Road near Interstate 575   Holly Springs, Georgia

There are always 1 to 2 police cars either behind the Chevron station, in front of the station or or at the road to the church right off the exit. You will be stopped for ANY infraction.

Hickory Road near Harmony Lake Drive   Holly Springs, Georgia

Eastbound traffic goes down long hill with a single up pitch near the bottom. It's necessary to brake steadily going down the hill so you're not speeding on the crest. That's where they nail you. I live nearby and see this trap run frequently. It's a scam and I see people abused every week. The county used to run this trap until the city annexed the area. They probably did it just for the revenue.

Interstate 575 near Exit Number 14   Holly Springs, Georgia

Between exit 11 and 14 on I-575 (north of Atlanta) the City of Holly Springs will have their local patrol cars park under the overpass bridges (obscured from traffic) for both northbound and southbound traffic. The speed limit is 65mph and is enforced strictly by the Holly Srings police but not by the Georgia Highway Patrol which uses the "flow of traffic" rule (if traffic is moving smoothly and no one is weaving in an out, no one is singled out.) I drive this way daily and have noticed that the Holly Springs police are most numerous the last week of the month, and not present at all the first week of any month.
