US-129 Bypass near State Highway 11   Jefferson, Georgia

Continuation of Pendergrass speed trap, and include Arcade as well. All white Jefferson City (Jackson Co) police cars run radar in the median.

Brockton Road just before Jefferson Light   Jefferson, Georgia

Just before Brockton Road dead ends into Curry creek in Jefferson at the 3 way light the road curves back and forth several times. The limit changes to 45 MPH then 35 MPH very quickly. The police hide in the crooks of the curves and before you know it your toast. The last 3 time I have take that way to Jefferson they have been there lurking.

State Highway 129 near Old Pedergass Road   Jefferson, Georgia

The Jefferson Police parks a cruiser on the grass median during the day and this car is unmanned making drivers think is a radar trap!

Interstate 85 near US Highway 129   Jefferson, Georgia

I-85 TRAVELERS: Just this past week, the city of Jefferson installed new signs on the interstate. They read, "Jefferson City Limit" and "Speed Checked By Detection Devices". It sounds like this speedtrap town is getting jealous of Braselton's ability to write tickets on the interstate, and they are now letting Jefferson Police join in on the "sport". The signs are about 1 mile from either side of Exit 137 (Jefferson/Gainesville).

Jett Roberts Road near Jett Roberts Road   Jefferson, Georgia

All of Jett Roberts Road is a speed trap. Jefferson PD hide in subdivision entrances (no lights at night) and sit in front of the dam, clocking traffic both north and southbound. Speed limit is 45, but 50 would be much fairer. 10 over is the most slack you'll get from this Metro Atlanta speedtrap.
