I 75 Macon GA   Macon, Georgia

I75 has all of these work zones with no one working. Then all the traffic slows down to a snail crawl. Then the work zone ends, and everyone drives like 95 mph. If you don't stay with the traffic flow, the traffic will hit you. Trust me I have drove the same work 19 times in the last 12 weeks and I noted the same problem. Anyway after passing thru 5 or 6 zones, 1 is actually working and the state troopers are faced both directions arresting hundreds of cars maybe 20 miles from where the incident even happened!!!!! I signed to get my licenses back and he said thank you for admitting your guilt!!!!!!!! DOUBLE FINES IN WORKING AREA!

Interstate 75   Macon, Georgia

I-75 passes through Macon, and the speed limit drops from 70 MPH to 55 MPH. Despite the change in signs, the flow of traffic continues to be considerably above the speed limit. Macon police randomly stop cars that are exceeding the speed limit. The officer admitted that he can't stop everyone and just picks one car out of the group. The Saturday morning I was stopped there were two cruisers taking turns stopping cars. Be especially careful where I-75 and 475 split, at the north and south ends of Macon.

Interstate 16 East near Exit Number Coliseum Drive   Macon, Georgia

Though it is nearly impossible for LE to make traffic stops in this stretch, the city has installed a photo radar tower at this exit. Be very careful - very few people obey the speed limits here, though they really should. There are two exits within a few hundred feet, with a Lot of traffic entering and exiting the interstate.

Speeding Tickets

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
