Canton Hwy just south of Shallowford   Marietta, Georgia

There are two churches across from each other on Canton north of Hawkins Store Rd and just south of Shallowford. There are usually 2 in the parking lot on the west side of the road. Especially at night. There hasn't been a weekend night coming back home that I haven't seen them there. Creep slowly by and don't make any sudden movements.

Indian Hills Parkway and Summit Drive   Marietta, Georgia

Cobb Police love to target the 3 way stop / intersection at Indian Hills Parkway and Summit Drive. The speed limit on Indian Hills is 30 MPH but it's easy to drive 40ish on that road...although not safe because of the golf cart crossings. Be careful driving through Indian Hills as the speed varies from 25 to 30. Police brag that they write between 150 and 200 speeding and stop sign violation tickets each month in Indian Hills. This is a major revenue source.

Windy Hill and I-75 just past Leland Dr.   Marietta, Georgia

Going down Windy Hill Road, The officer sits in the Pappadeaux Parking lot which is 15 feet above road level and behind signs and bushes. Officer can't see more than 70 feet down the road and uses stationary radar, The restaurant turns off all the lights in the parking lot when they close so it very dark up there. I doubt that Pappadeaux is letting the officer do this during business hours but they close about 10:00PM so be careful, Cops like sitting in the dark

Post Oak Tritt Rd between Johnson Fry Rd and Chestnut Ridge   Marietta, Georgia

The school zone stretches from just after the intersection of Johnson Ferry Rd and Post Oak Tritt Rd. There are about 4 neighborhoods, a church parking lot, and Hightower Trail Middle School. At night, there is a Sheriff's Deputy that frequents the middle school entrance/parking lot who clocks people flying down Post Oak Tritt. During school hours, either Cobb County Police or Cobb County Sheriff (mostly Cobb County Police) do radar or laser enforcement at any of the neighborhood entrances. I know because I live in one of those neighborhoods and ALWAYS see police officers or sheriff's deputies clocking folks.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
