Intersection of North Druid Hills Rd. & Clairmont Road   DeKalb County, Georgia

The right turn at this intersection changed a few years ago from a yield sign at this Stop light (yes, it's a Stop light - not a four-way stop) to a pair of STOP signs. The problem is when the light is green, people still just pull up to it and do a rolling stop because the traffic behind them sees the green light and honks. I had this happen to me in early Dec. 2011. I didn't come to a compete stop at the sign while the light was green, and I got a ticket for it, which is $178.00. Yes, I was technically in the wrong, but that is a poorly designed turn. It doesn't belong there . A yield sign like they used to have there will do. DeKalb Police frequently sit just around that corner and hand out tickets by the dozens. It's purely revenue enhancement. That stop doesn't make any sense. Do you know that they only hit you for $150.00 if you get caught texting while driving? Sheeesh! What a racket.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
