This small town is writing tickets at an alarming rate. I was pulled over tonite around 9:30 p.m., while going 5 miles per hour UNDER the posted speed limit. The officer said the reason he pulled me over, was that my window tint appeared to be too dark to him (an hour and a half after sunset!). He then proceeded to put his window tint checker on my window and it registered a 36, well above the legal limit.

Earlier today, I saw two traffic stops at the same time happening a mile apart. These guys are TROLLING for revenue and will come up with the most ridiculous reason to stop you. I would advise you to avoid this town, do not stop there to do any commerce, and even if you are driving perfectly within the legal limit, BEWARE of Barney Fife in Pavo Georgia. You have been warned. I told the officer that he didnt seem to care that he had detained me unnecesarily, and he told me he didnt care, and that he was just doing his job and I was welcome to complain to the "P.D." Unless you MUST go through the town, find another route.
