Main Street near Main Street   Pembroke, Georgia

The Pembroke City Police will cite you at one mile per hour above a 10 mph interval to double the amount of your fine. For example, I was cited at 51 mph in a 30mph zone. If I had been cited at 50mph, my fine would have been $140. The extra one mph increased my fine to $270. Beware!

Interstate 16 near Savannah   Pembroke, Georgia

Early on Sunday morning when almost no traffic on I-16 the officer sets in the median running radar trap. He ticketed me even though there was a faster car passing between me and the deputy, I don't think he even saw the other vehicle. Watch out for the Sunday morning "fund raiser" on the entire length of I-16, We saw 3 different county cars with motorist stopped (1 near Pembrook and 2 near Dublin) as well as 2 State troopers with their own speed trap and one unfortunate motorist ( 15 miles from Macon)
