Police sit in the median of Hwy 82 and wait for cars coming over the rise in the road. The speed limit used to be 45. Someone must have challenged a ticket because the limit got raised to 55. Police cars are still waiting.

Poulan Ga. is between Sylvester Ga. & Tifton Ga. on US 82   Poulan, Georgia

Poulan has had there 45 mph speed limit increased to 55 mph. This is due to excessive speed enforcement practices. Still a word of caution watch yourself in this place they get nasty.

in cruve under a hill on 4 lane US hwy 82 near mile marker 12,all the grass is worn off the mediam from consant use If it was a true saftey issue they would be at the of the hilltopto be seen and slow traffic
