Old Augusta Road-- connects county line at 21 to ft. howard   Rincon, Georgia

Half of this road is new--newly paved and open. The 'new' section of the road is smooth, so it's easy to speed! There are ample places to pass slow-moving cars. The speed limit is only 45. Cops sit on the side of the road between 'dirt piles' on the side of the road. I call this "ticket road." I got popped doing 65 in a 45! Be careful!

US Highway Highway 21 North near 4th Street   Rincon, Georgia

Be careful leaving Rincon north, or coming into Rincon from the North on highway 21. As you are coming into Rincon the speed limit drops from 45 to 35 as you hit the overpass. If you aren't careful, you'll be coming into town too fast and bingo, you may meet the police. I was caught once upon a time coming home from college, and didn't see the speed limit drop or the GSP behind me......Good luck

State Highway 21 near Viaduct in north part of town over RR   Rincon, Georgia

There's a RR viaduct on GA Hwy 21. As motorists travel southbound off the RR viaduct (quite steep grade) they are immediately in a school zone, and the speed drops from 45 to 35. Rincon cops love to catch you there. Also, be careful all along the 35 mph, FIVE LANE highway. Screams speedtrap.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
