US Highway 19 near When US 19 changes from a four lane to a two lane.   Schley, Georgia

State patrol working in teams of two cars in order to maximize citations issued. First car pops the radar on successive cars and then radios ahead to partner, who lets the cars pass and then runs the cars down one by one and puts them on the side of the road to wait for the citation. This highway is desolate and traffic is light at night. There are no street lights and this situation is highly dangerous for everyone involved. When I was stopped,the state patrolmen had passed me up and shot ahead at speeds that had to approach 100mph to catch the vehicle ahead of me who was also nailed. I topped a hill and the state patrolmen is sitting dead stopped in the middle of the road with his blue lights on and the other vehicle pulled to the shoulder. This is a very twisting,curving road, and this patrolman put his life in jeopardy, and mine, by stopping in this manner. Is it really worth it to put peoples lives on the line just to write a minor speeding citation? This method employed by the Ga. State Patrol is especially popular when Atlanta Motor Speedway lets out from a race because highway 19 is used by some race fans to travel south. They will not catch this race fan again, because I will never use Schley County to reach Atlanta Motor Speedway again! This setup is a moneymaking speedtrap.
