Sheriff on Union City Road

Union City, MichiganMay 22, 20140 Comments

1/2 mile east of Union City on Union City road, the sheriff will sit along the river on both sides of the road, and he will sit at the intersection of Union City road and Railroad just after the turn in an attempt to ticket any eastbound traffic headed to Coldwater that speeds up even just a 3-4MPH before the 35MPH zone ends at the intersection of Railroad. Numerous tickets have been written here in the last week and there’s no doubt that this will become a common place for them to sit. As a side note, Union City police can’t leave the city limits so it’ll be either sheriff or state who’s cars are dark and hard to see around the turn.

2 houses east of the High School

Union City, MichiganMay 17, 20140 Comments

At the high school, 2 houses to the east is the location that an officer lives and he will sit in his driveway with radar on almost daily from 2:40 to 3:00 to catch students and parents leaving the HS and Middle school.

The officer will tag you for 2-3 mph over, then tell you they cannot write you a ticket for the 2-3 over and then will write you up for 10 mph over!!

This Town last I knew only had a Magistrate that sides with the Officer and you will loose if you appeal!!

If pulled over by a Union City officer and they try this on you dial 911 and get the state police involved ASAP!!!
