Hyattsville, Maryland Speed Traps
6700 Block of Riggs Road
This is on the corner of East-West Highway & Riggs Road. When you make the left from East-West Hwy to Riggs, the road is very bumpy, and people with new cars tend to turn very slowly. The problem is, if 2 or 3 cars are in front of you moving very slowly, you get stuck in the middle of the road, and the light turns RED. Then you get a ticket for going thru a red light. If you speed up to avoid the red light, cops are HIDING behind a tree next to the Rite Aid Parking lot, . The speed limit is very low (30MPH), so you are trapped and will get a ticket for going faster than 30 MPH.
