Perry, Arkansas Speed Traps

Brand new black Dodge Durango this guy loves to write tickets. The town is at the foot of a big mountain and he sits behind a blind curve on top of a hill above traffic. Speed limit drops to 35 mph. Commercial Vehicles beware.

Town of Perry on Highway 9 in Perry County. Population 300 has a Police Chief who pulls over someone every 8 to 10 minutes all day. Speed limit signs go from 55 to 45 to 35, Tries to get you in between these signs which are very close. Beware if you do the limit he will pull you over if you even look at him. If you have out of state plates, go another route, you WILL get stopped! He sits in a new black Dodge SUV. Folks this is Damascus all over again.

As the speed limit drops all the way to 35 very fast coming of the mountain there is an officer sitting there backed up in a driveway and if you’re not going at least 1 mph under the speed limit he’s going to pull you over.

Coming into Perry from the west on AR10 they have a new plain gray 4dr sedan sitting under the trees about 2 car lenghts from the 35MPH sign. You had better be @ 34 mph before getting to the sign.
