State Highway 278 near State Highway 75   Snead, Alabama

Entire police force quit after the mayor and town council demanded that they write more trafic tickets and quit working durgs. They have hired all new officers and have given them orders to write as many trafic tickets as they can. Speed limits are posted but drop from 55 to 45 real fast and they sat right at the sign to make sure you are doing what it says.

Etowah/Blount line on Hwy 278 to Hwy 75 intersection and all small county roads in city limits   Snead, Alabama

Motorists and truckers BEWARE if traveling through Snead city limits especially at night on weekends. CONSTANT patrols of Hwy 278 from Etowah/Blount county line to Hwy 75 intersection. Especially bad on weekend nights, where you will be pulled over and interrogated by police and checked by narcotics dog. Co. Rd 36 cut off to 75 also dangerous. Too many police patrolling in a very small town

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
