All Over   Maui, Hawaii

The posted speed limits in most of the state of Hawaii are probably determined illegally. According to the federal regulation manual, Manual On Uniform Traffic Contro Devices (MUTCD), it states that speed limits are to be determined by a speed survey. This is where the 85th percentile average speed of vehicles is determined. The posted speed needs to be rounded up to the nearest 5mph, not down! Through my research, Hawaii doesn't do this! Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
