There is Nothing but a few farm houses and acreages going out of town. The Speed Limit is 35mph. It feels like it should be 45 mph but they cant make money at that. I was clocked going 45 and was find $116 on 11/29/2013. When I drove on the road later that day, I set the cruise at 35 mph, two cars came up behind me and tailgated until I reached W Shaulis Rd. Total money maker!!!!

State Highway 58 near South of Highway 20

If travelling south on 58 from Cedar Falls, there are a couple hills before the approach to Hudson. On the final (and largest) hill, a horse farm is on the east of the road and then you start your descent. Depending on the cop, there are a couple of places where they wait.
1. midway down the hill (east side) 2. bottom of the hill (west side) 3. Inside town by the bridge (the only one) 4. The junction of 58 and 63 (south of town) 5. As far as a mile south of town There are various spots on 63 where they hang as well. Also, be aware that the speed limit goes to 45 in town and I’ve been burned there. That spot is right in the middle of that zone in town. The police have dark-colored cars so you have to be careful when you make your apporach into Hudson. There is usually only one on-duty cop unless it’s a holiday, and there’s usually someone being pulled over. I don’t know of anybody that has got a warning after being pulled over. That must be how they get their snazzy equipment.
