Highway 17 South of town to Highway 30 in Boone County
State patrol and County sherriffs patrol this road on a regular basis in both directions every day of the week. Be prepared along the entire 19 mile stretch as they are rolling and taking your picture and will get you stopped if you are 6 mph or more over the limit.

City police are in the motel parking lot clocking your speed travelling North as you are coming into the city limits and will enforce the reduced speed.

2nd Crossing near Superior Street
Anywhere on 2nd street or anywhere on superior street. There is a large factory on the north side of town. Officers pray on factory workers going to or leaving work. Mainly 3 to 5 pm and around midnight. Officers are over zealous and will stop you for anything, including seatbelts, head/tail lights, even 3 mph over limit.
