Just north of the Post Office in Wedowee on US Hwy 431   Wedowee, Alabama

The city police will often have a car oriented north to catch drivers headed south on US Hwy 431 entering Wedowee's city limit. They will be tucked in to a spot hidden by trees shortly after you cross the Wedowee Creek Bridge (where the city limit begins).

US Highway 431 near Hospital   Wedowee, Alabama

Traveling North on Hwy 431 you will go through the city of Wedowee. This will be a 4 lane highway upon passing the hospital the 4 lanes will end. You will travel down a hill and cross a body of water/bridge (R.L. Harris Resevoir). You will then start traveling back up a hill. As you get to the top of the hill a State Trooper will sometimes be on the left side sitting back in the woods by and old house. If you see him it will be in your rear view mirror. Another land mark is a concrete company which is just north of where he sits. The problem is when you see the concrete company it is too late.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
