Burr Ridge, Illinois Speed Traps
Willow Springs Road between German Church & 79th st.
The limit is 40 and this is right where a police station is. I’ve seen them sitting in the police station, in a residential driveway on the west side (which is blind to anyone going northbound) and in an entrance to the UPS plant on the east side. This stretch of road is very tempting to do 45-50 but when it narrows to one lane it’s a good idea to be cautious and vigilant. There’s about a 40-50% chance a cop is sitting in one of these places
79th from County Line Rd to Madison
79th west from Wolf Rd is 40 MPH. However, from County line rd it is 30 MPH.
LEOs hide out in various locations along 79th. Be aware and watch your speed.
83rd Street near Madison Street
The speed limit on 83rd Street between County Line Road and Madison St. is 30 MPH – and the Burr Ridge Police mean it. It’s a very wide street which may lead drivers to forget that the limit is so low. BEWARE!
County Line Road Street near Carriage Place Street
Northbound on County Line (downhill run) toward Carriage Place, approaching Plainfield Road. LEOs sit at development entrance behind sign. Seen periodically, but mostly at high traffic times to catch I-55 exiters.
