New Route 267–North End of Town

Greenfield, IllinoisMar 01, 20020 Comments

There is a large brick church at the north end of Greenfield. Beware as you are passing this area from the north especially because the speed limit drops from 55-35. A Greenfield officer often sits beside the church. (You will notice the church just after you come around a curve, past a large park and subdivision on the east side of the highway.

New Ill. 267-108 Junction 1 1/2 miles south of Greenfield

Greenfield, IllinoisMar 01, 20020 Comments

This junction is just south of Hog, Inc. (Edge of Greenfield) and there very often a state unit will sit up on top of the hill (parking-pull over area) at the southwestern corner of the intersection. Deputies may also monitor. Watch out if you are coming from any of the following towns: Greenfield southbound, Rockbride northbound, Carrollton eastbound, or Carlinville(Hettick) eastbound.
