rolling or sitting radars. speed is being stronely enforced due to large amount of auto / white-deer contacts. smile to the officer and have a clean record and they give you a court supervision ticket. be a butt head and get one that will stay on your record. the officer I meet was really polite and correct.

Route 136 Heading East out of town

Havana, IllinoisSep 01, 20010 Comments

Leaving town on route 136 East the speed limit is 30 MPH. Just on the other side of the railroad track which crosses Route 136 is a 50 MPH sign which is visible in advance of the railroad tracks. Local patrol car parks in the shadows along the tracks and uses radar to clock cars that see the 50 MPH sign and speed up. They claim you are in the 30 MPH zone, even though you are staring at the 50 MPH sign.
