State Highway 17 near Lumber Yard on south side of road
The only police officer in town sits well off the south side of HWY 17, usually in the old lumber yard parking lot and you don’t see him until he’s got you. The speed limit is 45, reducing to 40 through town which is not unreasonable, considering recent accidents there. Just obey the speed limit there.
