North of Lebanon on Rt. 4

Lebanon, IllinoisJan 05, 20120 Comments

New apartments have been constucted North of Lebanon on the East side of Rt. 4. It is VERY common to see cops sitting next to the new storage unit on this relatively new street catching people accelerating to the 55 MPH zone North of town. There is also a church partking lot on the West side of the road (still north of town) that cops also sit in. There are constantly people pulled over near the speed zone in this area.

It is a trap due to the fact that when driving North from Lebanon you drive up a slight grade and are unable to see the cops before they see you.

IL Rte 4, IL Rte 50

Lebanon, IllinoisAug 05, 20030 Comments

The police in this town like to sit in private driveways, with the home owners permission of course. They can usually be found in a driveway on the short cut into town near the golf course, sitting in the driveway of a mobile home park on IL-50 going east as you turn into the short cut in the am hours, a driveway on the new IL-50 going towards Carlyle Lake, and a place just past the railroad tracks on IL Rte 4 going towards Mascoutah.
