Slow down to 35mph as you travel on 45 Southbound before entering Mundelein and going under train track bridge, there is sometimes a cop on the right side on a side street (got a ticket there) immediately after the bridge, and there will be one after about 1/4 mile on the right side parked at the bottom of the hill or next to a bulding in the same area.

Squads regularly sit in Santa Maria church lot (Courtland and Seymore) or in the US Music lot along Courtland. They can be found there throughout the day, and at night! Do 25 mph through here!

They will also clock you coming south on Seymore!

Squads sit in Fairhaven Scool or in the Fort Hill Historical Museum lots and radar on Prospect and Noel Dr. They also ticket regularly there for rolling stops! Don’t be surprised to see officers on bicycle or even on foot, hiding behind trees/poles and writing seatbelt tickets there in nice weather!

Hwy 45 & Edgemont St

US-45 Southbound, just past entrances to Loch Lomond/St. Mary’s Seminary, just past the crest of a hill, Mundelein has had installed a Radar Photo Cop attached to a speed reduction sign from 45 to 35. The sign cannot be seen until your in the Picture Taker" zone. (Legality?) There is/was a state law prohibiting speed checks closer than 500 feet from a speed reduction sign."

Going North on Lake street (Route 45), there’s usually a cop sitting in the church parking lot. Speed limit is 35mph, I got a ticket last week for going 50. Its almost impossible to see them since the view is blocked by the train tracks and trees by the parking lot
