As you are coming east on Schaumburg Rd towards Bartlett Rd. there is frequently 1 or 2 police cars clocking people as they come over the hill. It is a school zone as there is an elementary school there on the corner and the limit is on 20 mph if there are children present as opposed to the normal 40 mph. If you are speeding as you come over the hill you don’t have a chance. They may also be standing outside the car with the radar checking seat belts as well so beware!

State Route 59 near Golf Road

When travelling southbound on Route 59 between I-90 and Schaumburg road, be very careful as you do the stretch betweent the Shoe Factory Road and Golf Road. The copper likes to hide deep in the forest preserve entrance. The speed limit is 45 mph but during afternoon and late nights, its more or less deserted (forest preserves on both sides) and it is very tempting to speed. Be very careful! Copper likes to use k-band instant-on and once I got clocked by a laser as well. Funny thing is I was doing close to 105 on I-90 and then slowed down because I KNOW there is going to a cop there and sure enough, he was there with a laser. Man that felt good!
